The Letarte family has been on the roads since 1935. Back then, Willie Letarte had its own trucking company and his children took over later on.
Meanwhile, his son Louis was the owner of a customs warehouse in Drummondville. Louis’ son, Louis Jr. Letarte, grew up in this industry as well. He acquired experience by working with other transport companies in the region before joining his father in the early 1990’s.
When Louis Letarte passed away in 1996, Louis Jr. took the lead of the company which held only 3 employees and 2 trucks at that time. With the 3rd generation at the helm, Letarte Transport flourished by soundly focusing on diversification.
Over the years, Louis Jr. was able to gather a team as passionate and hard working as him. Nowadays, there are nearly thirty employees by his side! With a great sense of entrepreneurship, Louis Jr. Letarte has managed to grow the business together with his loyal clients by adapting to their new projects over time.
With the aim of never disappointing them, Letarte Transport has acquired an enviable reputation based on human values. Thereby, all can expect a personalised serviced in which quality comes before quantity. The well-being of its employees guides this positioning. True to its values, Letarte Transport does not miss the opportunity to give back to its community by supporting several causes. A mutual aid binds the local businesses and we are proud to belong to this community.
